Institution Collaboration: TMU Nursing Students and BioPharma Services
3rd Year Nursing Students Complete their Community Placement Requirements at BioPharma Services

A noteworthy example of this synergy is the partnership between third-year nursing students from the prestigious TMU (Toronto Metropolitan University) and BioPharma Services Inc., a leading Clinical Research Organization (CRO).
For the first time in BioPharma Services history, TMU 3rd year students were able to participate and complete their necessary hours for community/mental health placement. The first round of which was undertaken in September of 2023 and allowed for BioPharma Services to host 2 students while they completed what was required for their credits. This project was the result of Clinic Ops’ occasional partnerships with organizations or universities that host CRT students. In this post, we will provide a breakdown of how this idea was carried out to execution and how the students benefited from this experience. Moreover, the exposure for BioPharma Services. It also allows TMU to appreciate the unique role of nurses in the CRO industry.
At TMU, nursing education goes beyond the traditional classroom setting.
